I upgraded my PC with new components: a 9950X3d, Gigabyte Aorus Elite X870, four 16GB Kingston DDR5 6000MHz RAM sticks, and my previous Asus TUF 4080 OC along with Corsair RM-1000X. Both systems now have their own Windows installations. I transferred everything into a new case, and everything functioned properly. However, I encountered strange black screens and frequent freezes, though audio remained clear from streaming platforms like YouTube and Twitch. The system handled booting and basic tasks without issues. Despite thorough testing with tools like Memtest86, SuperPI, OCCT, etc., everything passed without problems.

I eventually replaced the new components with my old setup, reinstalled the PSU and GPU, and attempted to install the latest NVIDIA drivers. The installation failed repeatedly, showing errors. I used DDU to remove drivers and tried installing only the graphics drivers, but the issue persisted. I then installed additional 566.36 drivers, focusing solely on the graphics stack, leaving all other software untouched. My GPU now operates smoothly even when switching between BIOS modes—quiet to performance.

I’m curious if others facing similar driver-related problems can benefit from this experience. It’s possible that newer NVIDIA drivers or updates might affect BIOS compatibility. I hope this insight helps fellow users troubleshoot their own issues. All tests have been successful, and the system remains stable.
