Hi everyone, my laptop is acting weird. I've tried different things: 1. A new charger (it didn't help at all). 2. The old battery inside my notebook (this one won't hold charge and just shuts down when power goes out; the new one worked great for a year). What can you do to fix this?

1 | What makes and model are you using for your computer? Knowing the specific number helps us help you twice. 2 | How old is the original battery on that device right now? 3 | Are you getting a real replacement part for your battery?

ACER ASPIRE V3-571G: The old battery was from 2012. Got a real replacement part that matches the exact model and specs. It worked fine after swapping out the original one (I probably replaced it a year or more ago, but I can't pinpoint the exact date).

If everything looks fine and the charger works, you should test your battery to make sure it's good. Here is a link showing exactly how to check: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/5-tools-an...tery-life/
