My issue is very similar to the one discussed in the previous post about "Nintendo Switch Pro controller not detected by Windows 11?" I still have identical hardware—same CPU, SSD, and power supply—but I'm using Windows 10. There are no solutions mentioned in that discussion, so I thought sharing my own experience might assist in fixing the problem.

In short, the controller fails to connect or be recognized by Windows completely. Device Manager shows no new devices, and the charging light remains off. It lights up briefly during startup but then flashes and turns off after Windows loads, just as described in the linked post. I've tried all standard troubleshooting steps: updating system updates (except for Windows 11), updating AMD chipset drivers, using BetterJoyForCemu, disconnecting the controller from the switch, testing different ports on the motherboard and case, and even connecting via Bluetooth—which isn't possible due to lack of built-in support.

My PC specifications are: CPU Ryzen 5 5600x, Motherboard Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (Non-Wifi), RAM GSkill Trident Z RGB 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 CL16, SSD Samsung Evo 970 1TB, GPU GeForce RTX 3060, PSU Corsair RM 650x 80+ gold, Chassis NZXT H710, OS Windows 10 Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My controller has been connected to the computer for about four days, yet it suddenly began functioning. Windows reported it was setting up a device and then turned on. This is quite unusual; if anyone has any insight or explanation, it would be greatly appreciated.
