Hello, your i5 4670K runs on Windows 10 with AIDA64 Extreme 2023. This CPU is quite old, so you should verify if the AIDA64 version supports it. Running tress testing might trigger newer instructions not compatible with your processor, potentially causing issues. Consider updating to a more recent AIDA64 release or adjusting settings accordingly. For tress testing, focus on enabling CPU and cache checks, while leaving other options like FPU or memory settings unchanged unless necessary.

If aida64 stops supporting your CPU, it should inform you about it. Yet I don’t see any reason for that to happen unless it depends on certain CPU instructions you haven’t yet. Today’s x86 extensions are highly specialized, making it unlikely for a program to force them as essential. Which part of your CPU are you trying to push for testing?
