I appreciate the straightforwardness of the previous RealTemp 3.70 app. However, the interface I'm used to is outdated, so I'm looking for an alternative that offers similar features and displays temperatures directly in the taskbar area.

I rely on core temperature data and can show your CPU temperatures on the Windows Taskbar. (You'll need to move it from the system tray, that small arrow.) I've included a screenshot! The download link is here: https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

Check the compatible CPUs at the provided link - https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/supportlist.html. Your model is supported, so you shouldn't encounter problems. For monitoring internet speed, use NetSpeedMonitor: https://www.softpedia.com/get/Network-To...itor.shtml. Run it in Windows 7 compatibility mode; it should function properly and the rest of the setup will be fine.
