The new PC operates in an unusual manner.
Hello. My new PC arrived with all components brand new. Once assembled, I installed my old GTX 1060 and it didn’t function properly. After setting up Windows via the integrated GPU, the GTX would start but then crash after a short period. It eventually worked again in BIOS. I received a GTX 1650 from someone to test compatibility, which initially worked briefly before freezing and then displaying a black screen. That’s only part of the issue. Occasionally the system restarts on its own, sometimes it hangs after turning on without a GPU, and other times it keeps restarting even without one. On the integrated GPU, I’ve noticed some pixels displaying unusual colors. Everything seems strange and inconsistent. Is this related to the motherboard? Could you assist me? I’m unsure what steps to take. I’ve already updated the BIOS and reinstalled Windows multiple times, updated drivers, but nothing has resolved the problems. Specific specs: Gigabyte B550 Gaming X v2, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, Patriot 3600MHz, CL17, Viper Steel Silentium, M.2 750W, Gold M.2 slot, Spatium 500GB, Fortis 5.
Running on a single RAM stick can be beneficial, but the performance depends on your system configuration. Using multiple sticks in different slots often improves stability and speed.
I resolved the issue by selecting incompatible RAM. Appreciate it! It functions properly with a single RAM module.
