I just finished putting together a PC last week, installed Windows 10, updated the drivers, and played some Fallout 4 over the weekend. Everything looked normal until Sunday night when I turned it off. On Monday evening, I tried to power it on again—nothing happened. The case opened, but the GPU fans weren’t spinning while the case and CPU fans did. The LED indicators were on, but there was no beeping sound. I attempted to use the integrated graphics, but nothing appeared on HDMI or DVI. The keyboard didn’t respond at all.
The components I have are: Asus Prime B550M-A WIFI II, AMD Ryzen 5700X Super Flower Leadex III, 750W 80+ Gold, 16GB DDR4, Radeon RX 6750 XT, and a 1TB Samsung SSD. This seems to be my fifth PC assembled in over 25 years, and this was my first time facing such an issue. Is it likely a motherboard or CPU problem?
Test the GPU on another system and switch to a different GPU there. The fans may not start until the GPU hits a specific temperature (around 50 or 60 °C), which isn't always a reliable sign.
