Hi, the packaging had a strong chemical odor, like nail polish or a harsh cleaner. Since you haven’t assembled the PC yet, it’s hard to say for sure if there’s any issue. Just wait a bit and check once everything is assembled—if it smells normal afterward, it’s probably fine.

Let it sit for a while before testing. It seems like the last trace of the cleaning product left behind.

It seems there might be some residue or a dark line on the motherboard, but it isn’t sticky. It could be a leftover from a previous repair or installation. It’s good to check if it affects performance when you power it on.

Most probably a production problem, such as imperfect glue nozzles and excess material that slipped past QA. Were you purchasing from a location with a history of similar issues?

It's good to double-check. If it's marked as new on Amazon, you can expect it to be in good condition. Just make sure to read the reviews and check the seller details for any concerns.

Share an image. Amazon offers products from themselves and third-party sellers, but you can't always be sure who actually sold it. Verify the exact seller.

The image shows what I observed on the board, and it mentions being sold by Amazon.

Let's check the epoxy for any red flags.

It's difficult to judge, but you can notice the cooler and the area near the CPU fan header. It seems to be coming from the VRM.
