Hello, I recently upgraded most of the parts on my computer and it's working pretty well. It boots up, all hardware is recognized and I'm able to play games. Unfortunately, I've noticed under heavy load (most recently happened on 100% GPU and 30% CPU) that the computer just starts beeping. This has only starting happening after updating hardware and only when under load. Most of the time it's a cycle of 9 beeps and then a pause, but sometimes its like 20 beeps. Here's a video of it Here's a picture of the metrics overlay when its beeping. Spoiler Here are my current (and old) specs: Windows 10 Professional 64 bit ASRock B450M Pro4 Bios Version 5.7.0 Ryzen 5800x3D stock (old CPU was Ryzen 2700x) Noctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler 2x8 Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz memory Radeon RX 7900 XTX Reference stock (old GPU was a Radeon 5500XT) Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB Boot Drive WD Blue 2TB HDD storage EVGA Supernova 850 G5 80+ Gold (old PSU was a EVGA 500W Bronze 80+ Gold) My initial thought was that it's the motherboard, but the manual doesn't reference any beep codes and I'm not even sure it has a beeper on it. The only time beeping is referenced in the manual is when it talks about the Boot Beep, but say's "Please note that a buzzer is needed." And, boot beep isn't even in my bios, I'm assuming this is because I don't have a buzzer attached but I really have no idea. Here's a link to the motherboard manual: https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B450M Pro4.pdf Any help would mean the world.

It seems your hard drive is likely the issue. Do you have a speaker built into the motherboard?

It could be the right thing after all. I wasn't expecting it unless a speaker was already set up, which I don't have. I completely missed this until I turned it on after assembling it. Initially, the D drive was usable, but after roughly 20 minutes it stopped responding. It seemed to resolve after a restart, and hasn't occurred again. The beeping appeared only when games were running on the D drive. It might just mean the drive is nearing the end of its life. I'll try disconnecting it to check if the issue continues. Thanks.

Absolutely, you're right about the high frame rate. It's best to limit it in drivers. The sounds aren't just MB or speaker alerts—there are actual HDD header issues. If the plate is warped, it won't reach the space properly.

I placed the order for a new HDD and really appreciate your assistance. I was just checking if my setup had a card with a 110-degree hotspot temperature, especially since I play with capped FPS.

Also a note, just because the card won't cause your PC to restart or overheat at high temps doesn't mean you should push it into that range during peak usage. Adjust your fans to full speed at 60°C.
