I recently added a new PNY GeForce RTX 3060 to my setup and am facing several challenges. Performance drops to around 7 FPS in demanding titles, while lower-poly games run smoothly near 60 FPS. I’ve fully updated the graphics driver from NVIDIA (version 516.94). Additionally, I’m struggling with MSI Afterburner—there’s no fan control or custom curve available, which is concerning since the GPU only spins up when it exceeds 90°C and then stays at full speed. Here are my specs: PNY GeForce RTX 3060 12GB XLR8 - SilverStone FX600 Platinum 600W, AMD Ryzen 3600 CPU, 16 GB RAM (2x8GB), Corsair Vengeance LPX, Western Digital 1TB WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD, and an ASRock B550M-ITX/AC motherboard.

I faced problems with my Gigabyte 2060 Super. I spent a lot of time contacting support, trying all possible fixes, but nothing worked. Eventually, I had to return it for a replacement.

I feel a bit anxious about trying DDU since I haven't used it before, but I knew it could work. It seems to have performed well in practice.

Did you perform a fresh installation of the Nvidia drivers? Have you checked your previous GPU using the updated driver to confirm consistent performance? (this applies to Nvidia graphics cards) What version of Afterburner do you currently have?
