I'm not sure if I can share the links, but I recorded the boot-up sequence and posted it on Reddit for anyone who might assist. The video is quite clear, I'm using a new Asus X670E-I and the only issue is that the system takes 50 seconds to boot at the start. Sorry about my English, I'm from Spain. (And today the 's' is silent ;-) Thanks in advance!
New AM5 machines take long with memory timing. B650 or overkill x670e doesn't matter. BIOS updated fully? There is a Memory Context setting you can use as well, not sure if it's relevant with new BIOS updates anymore though.
It might happen sometimes. When I set up my AM5 system in October 2022, it kept facing this lengthy startup problem. I looked into a lot of information, but what I discovered back then was just this... Now, thanks to several BIOS updates, the boot time has improved significantly. So when someone mentions their system is updated, they usually refer to the latest BIOS version available. For mine, it's the F8d released in September 2023...
Does it happen each time you begin the machine or only when you adjust BIOS settings? If it’s always every time, it might indicate a problem, but your x670e board does need to recalibrate for about a minute whenever you change any BIOS configuration, even if unrelated to memory. This behavior seems typical.
