I checked my PC setup and everything looks okay after initial power-on. After a short while, no output appeared on the screen even when switching inputs like HDMI or DP. Upon inspection, the EZ debug LED lit up at both CPU and DRAM sections—red and yellow. I installed just one RAM stick in the second slot and tried to boot again, but still nothing displayed. There are rumors about MASTERBOARD RAM compatibility being strict, which could explain the failure. The manual mentioned older GPUs might struggle to display during startup, so that could be a factor too. Although my 1070 has been running for five years, I doubt it’s the root cause. The seller suggested a newer GPU might help, but they said I need something updated before changing back. What should I do? Any advice would be appreciated.

Replace the CPU connection. A faulty link to the CPU can lead to both DRAM and CPU indicators staying on. The motherboard seems to be using very old cards that don’t support UEFI. The 1070 model is fairly recent and does have UEFI support, so this isn’t a problem. The seller’s advice is completely wrong. If the 1070 remains operational, it should function with that board. PCI-e is built to work backward.

Thanks for the help! I'll give it a shot when I'm back home from work. Hope the CPU and motherboard are still in good shape.

They checked one stick at a time to determine which worked. An alternative solution is updating the motherboard's BIOS to potentially resolve the issue.

Sure thing! It sounds like you've already figured out a workaround by adjusting the RAM placement. Regarding your question, it’s possible that one of the RAM slots isn’t functioning properly or the second DIMM slot is damaged. Checking for physical damage or loose connections could help confirm if there’s an issue with a specific slot.

Hi, just to update you, I just solved it by putting a stick of ram on the fourth slot and it posted! However when I put the another ram back to the second slot, it couldn't post again, showing the cpu and dram error again. So I can conclude that, maybe it's one of the ram not working or the second slot on the motherboard is messed up, but is there a chance in a broken dimm slot?

It's possible the second RAM slot isn't working. You might need to send the motherboard back for replacement.

Man if its really broken i would cry man, spent like 7 hours building and troubleshooting it. However now I can confidently assure that it is the ram problem, after sticking the faulty ram to the slot that i booted in, it didnt work. So after replacing the working one back, it became normal again. But another issue now is my cpu temp is way too high and i am not sure why.

Alright, first make sure the cables for the AIO are all plugged in properly, as you may have accidentally unplugged something when fiddling with the RAM. Second, did you make sure to remove the plastic off the cooling block before installing it? That’s a common issue that happens to even experienced builders. edit: can you tell us what temps you are getting? That would also help
