You recently upgraded your system this week with several components: an R5 3600X, Corsair 16GB RGB, Sapphire RX 580, and a cooler from Cooler Master. Everything seems installed correctly, but the system still won’t post. The motherboard’s RGB lights up when powered on, yet the CPU fan occasionally spins briefly before stopping. Despite trying various fixes and even older techniques, it’s not working. You’re wondering if there’s an issue with the BIOS or if you’re doing something wrong, and whether power supply wattage might be the problem.
Likely just swap out the motherboard. It may lack the necessary updated BIOS. The only option I have in mind is that. Assuming the DDR4 connections aren’t just slightly off or something else.
The mobile works just fine. The only thing missing is updating the BIOS. I don’t know how to do that myself. Ram is also sitting perfectly.
You’d start by gathering the necessary steps and then follow them carefully.
Consider obtaining an AMD boot kit or check if a nearby PC repair shop has an unused Ryzen CPU available.
I recently installed an R7 2700 but it didn't work. The fan started spinning but then stopped.
