Hello, I just finished assembling my new PC and set it up with Windows 11. Suddenly I encountered a BSOD warning that said "Your PC needs to be repaired" followed by a reboot. After a couple hours to two hours, the issue resurfaced. The BIOS had all its CPU/RAM settings disabled. I looked online for help and found a recommendation to test the RAM. I started with Microsoft’s built-in diagnostic tool, which reported a hardware error. Then I tried Memtest86 and ran it overnight—during which the PC stayed on. After passing five tests, I assumed the RAM wasn’t the problem.
I own several drives (including some from my old machine), a four-monitor setup, and a few MIDI keyboards for music production. Could it be that the power supply isn’t providing enough voltage? I checked PSU wattage calculators on various sites and settled on an 850W unit. Still, I wonder if that’s sufficient given all the components connected.
