Check if the network settings are enabled on both PCs and ensure the network adapter is active. Verify that the devices are properly connected and that the DHCP server is functioning. If needed, restart the computers or run a network troubleshooter.

That's correct, I understand the issue. It seems the network discovery and file sharing features are disabled by default, even though they should be active. This needs to be addressed.
