You can definitely upgrade from your current setup. The Lenovo N1996 motherboard supports the GTX 1050 Ti, and with a 450-watt PSU you should have enough power for it. Just make sure the card fits physically and that your cooling solution can handle the increased load. Since you already have a GTX 650 installed, adding the GTX 1050 Ti will give you more performance without major issues.

The 1050ti requires just 75W, so no extra PCIe cable is necessary. It's feasible.
