I considered purchasing this card because it matches the MSI Radeon R7 370 specifications with DirectX 12, 3.0 x16 PCIe, HDCP ready, CrossFireX support, ATX video, and includes 4 GB of RAM. Would it allow playing games such as Just Cause 3, Quantum Break or Division in high to ultra settings? Also, does it work with my old M.2 M.2100 motherboard (MSI 970A G46) and a 600W PSU? Please advise if an Nvidia equivalent is needed. Thanks.

R7 370 isn't a poor GPU, but it won't run Just Cause 3 or The Division at ultra settings in smooth frames at 1080p. Nvidia's balanced option, the GTX 950 2GB, is a better choice. You'll still face performance limits, but you'll get improved results.

If you're open to purchasing used, check out the second-hand market for better value. A GTX 770 might be a suitable choice.
