I needed to keep the fans running high to maintain 88°C because of the new screen installation. When she ran at 90°C, the fans increased to 55°C. Should I use liquid metal as a paste or another method? I’m sure others have done this before, so you’re in the right place to ask. I’m not tech-savvy, but if I have a manual, I can handle it—otherwise I’ll be useless. The videos I’ve seen seem inconsistent or lower quality than yours. Any tips would be appreciated. I really love my machine when it cools down, but after getting her back it hit 120°C, which isn’t ideal.

The application of thermal paste could have been inadequate, or the cooler mount screws may not have been secured properly. Consider reapplying paste and verifying the screw tightness.
