You own an MSI X470 M7 AC and recently wrote a post about damaging the CPU. After checking the manual, you're puzzled because the debug LEDs seem to indicate issues only when the CPU is missing. When you don't install a CPU, the LED lights up signaling a problem, but the system doesn't show any updates. What's going on?
The board should receive an updated bio instead of relying on the AGESA code for Zen 2.
The board was purchased second-hand, and the seller states they were operating a 3800x with recent BIOS updates.
Sure, I can review it again. Could you clarify what you need? Perhaps confirm if you want me to contact a computer store or verify the BIOS details yourself?
Referenced earlier but excessive paste was applied, causing it to spread onto the board and CPU. I managed to remove it.
Do you have additional specifications? Also, most of the paste isn’t conductive, which shouldn’t interfere with anything.
