Every time I attempt to boost my GPU via MSI Afterburner, setting it to 1100 MHz and applying changes doesn’t result in higher performance. The benchmark shows the core clock remains capped at stock levels, while Afterburner claims overclocking. Despite these conflicting signals, the stats indicate the core frequency hasn’t surpassed normal limits. How can I resolve this issue?
Afterburner may help you boost your boost clock under stress. Keep in mind, I wasn't referring to the core clock—this value is set. The actual boost amount relies on the same variables that affect CPU overclocking, like temperatures and voltages. Try adjusting your power target and core voltage with GPU-Z; you might get a better idea.
