As the title indicates, MSI Afterburner sometimes fails to launch with Windows. Usually I see it when my card reaches the target temperature. I keep my custom fan curve enabled, the MSI afterburner profile saved, and "start with windows" selected. I’ve checked the task scheduler, which is set to "log on of any user." This issue began in Windows 10; before the upgrade I never experienced it.

EDIT: I’ve moved the MSI afterburner shortcut into the Windows startup folder, hoping it will resolve the problem.

Any suggestions you might have? I really don’t want my GPU to work harder than necessary just because Windows thinks it’s cool to have fans running at 20% while the GPU is already over 70°C.

EDIT2: It seems Asus AI Suite sometimes doesn’t start either, but fortunately my system and CPU fans are functioning at maximum by default. I’ve also tried using the startup folder (including programs like hamachi or my mouse editor that rarely fail at startup...).

Windows key & in the search bar/field type " MSCONFIG " then select " Startup " and see if MSI Afterburner - the box is ticked.
I wasn't sure if that is what you meant by (adding MSI Afterburner in the startup folder).
What card do you have & what is your desired temperature?
How far OC'd did you go?
