When playing games like Fortnite or others, I want to quickly set my fans to the highest levels right away. But afterburner isn’t working and doesn’t display fan speeds. I own an MSI GS60 Ghost 4k with a 970m graphics card. I’ve also tried using NVIDIA without success. It seems my right side fan isn’t running, so I’m checking if both fans are being recognized by the system. Do you have any better apps to download that can show me the fan status?

As a laptop, it's possible the GPU shares a fan with the CPU cooler.

It has nothing to do with improved applications, as MSI remains the top choice.
Your card likely can't handle fan monitoring.
You might send an inquiry to the maker via email regarding fan speed and oversight, since it's their device.

ElectrO_90 :
This isn't about better apps, as MSI remains the best choice.
Your card likely doesn't allow fan monitoring.
You might send an email to the manufacturer inquiring about fan speed and monitoring, since it's their product.
lol I accidentally downvoted you and unfortunately can't undo it, but thanks for your reply.

It's not to do with better apps, because MSI is the definitive app to have.
Your Card probably doesn't support fan monitoring.
You could always email the manufacturer asking them about fan speed and monitoring, since it is their product.
lol i accidentally downvoted you and sadly/stupidly cant undo it but thank you for the reply
I upvoted him so no worries
