I am using the most recent 1.8.6 release of MPC-BC (Black Edition) on Windows 11. I appreciate how convenient it is to set up favorite markers in this video player, letting me quickly return to any marked point by clicking on it. The issue is that I don’t know where MPC-BC keeps all the video timeline favorite marker information so I can transfer it to another device. When I asked a Google AI assistant, they mentioned it saves this data in the Registry or the ".ini" file. I looked in both the portable version and the Windows Installer version, but didn’t find any ".ini" file or registry entry for the timeline markers. In short, does anyone know where MPC-BC stores its favorites timeline marker data? Thank you for your time.
