You've adjusted several mouse settings in your INI files, but the issue persists. It seems the changes didn't resolve the high mouse speed in Fallout 3. Consider checking if there are other game-specific tweaks or community forums that might offer additional solutions without altering your mouse DPI.

Adjust the resolution settings; certain titles may not work well at higher DPI levels.

I hope things could be better but the software for MacCat Chat 7 isn’t very reliable. I haven’t managed to download or run it correctly after a long frustrating night. The problem seems to be that my touchpad is extremely sensitive, so I’m not sure if the issue lies with the mouse’s DPI.

If the issue appears only in menus, download and install the NVSE launcher from nvse.silverlock.org. Follow the guidance provided. The main concern is on your device; always launch the game using NVSE and never use the launcher afterward. Doing so will reset your settings to defaults, eliminating the sensitivity adjustment.

You're noticing old threads resurfacing because they were active four years ago. The PC version of Fallout 3 didn't have perfect performance, and the sensitivity issues were a common complaint.
