The issue seems unusual and hard to describe clearly. Vertical shifts feel much more intense than horizontal ones, regardless of speed. Moving the mouse up or down causes extreme responsiveness (about four times faster), while horizontal movement remains smooth. The touchpad works perfectly with no noticeable differences. With an M1 MBA and on Big Sur 11.2, any tips would be appreciated!

I resolved the problem by disconnecting and reconnecting the mouse. I think it's just a glitch in Big Sur or possibly the M1 models, but the issue seems fixed now.
