The mouse, keyboard, and headset are not functioning.
As mentioned in the title, I'm facing problems with connecting any USB devices. When starting up the computer through the BIOS, it shows:
USB Devices total: 0 Drive, 0 Keyboard, 0 Mouse, 0 Hub
Detected ATA/ATAPI Devices...
No keyboard detected!
I’m unable to identify the problem with this device. I’ve attempted to remove the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS, tried various mice and keyboards (the other mouse only lit up but didn’t function), my headset produces no sound even when connected to the 3.5mm jack behind the PC, and I can’t access the BIOS because none of the devices work. I’ve also re-seated every cable in case something was loose.
PC specifications:
Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming
I7-7700k
32GB (2x16gb) RAM
M2 Samsung 980PRO SSD
I would really appreciate help in resolving this issue.
It seems there might be an issue with the BIOS.
Consider using a PS2 keyboard and updating the BIOS.
This could resolve the problem if you use a PS2 keyboard.
The forum thread discusses dual BIOS boards and suggests checking for corruption.
It mentions a feature page but isn't clear if a switch is available on the board.
Typically, you can access it via USB when it works.
