An up-to-driver device can remain unstable or damaged. Reinstall it still—maybe the maker quietly resolved an issue. Review the manufacturer's forums and FAQs to see if others face similar issues. If reinstallation fails, test on different computers with alternative mice. But as I know from the previous discussion, a second mouse also encounters the same problem—correct?

Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system information.
Test the mouse on a different known functional computer.
Test another functional mouse on your current setup.
Check if the issue persists with the mouse or remains tied to your computer.
Are you involved in any gaming or app usage that needs macros?
Have you installed any software updates or additions recently? Review Reliability History for recent fixes.
Also execute the built-in Windows troubleshooters; they might resolve the matter.
If they fail, manually obtain the correct mouse drivers from the manufacturer’s site and reinstall.
Avoid third-party tools during this process.

I haven't tested the mouse on another computer, but I've tried another one. I play games but don't use any apps for macros or similar. Today I did an update on Windows, but it happened after the issue started. Troubleshooting didn't find anything useful, and most internet searches only suggest an inverted scroll solution. I think I'll try installing the drivers manually, though the Device Manager says they're up to date. I'll use a Windows fix for now.
