I just began playing Sea of Thieves again... and found that my mouse cursor doesn’t stay locked on the window, so I often click into my second monitor while gaming. This affects my experience a lot because, for instance, I can’t aim properly since the cursor isn’t visible in the game window anymore. I checked their troubleshooting guide, but it didn’t solve the issue. Then I installed a third-party tool called Dual Monitor to keep my mouse locked with a hotkey. That worked well, at least... Now I wanted to try League of Legends, which is the devils game, and I noticed the same problem (it never happened before). The cursor lock from Dual Monitor doesn’t function in League, and when I try to move the camera left, it jumps to my second screen instead. It’s really frustrating. I attempted to undo any changes from the Sea of Thieves troubleshooting steps, but nothing helped. It seems that restarting my computer fixes the issue until I open Sea of Thieves again, after which the cursor problem appears in other games too. This is really strange. Here’s the troubleshooting guide from Sea of Thieves: https://support.seaofthieves.com/article...-to-screen

Consider alternative approaches beyond permanent fixes. You might adjust your monitors within the software settings, move them up or down relative to the main display, or have someone remotely adjust their position diagonally. Also, try switching to a border/window view and then returning to fullscreen to see if it stabilizes the mouse movement.

I also tried changing the direction, updating the graphics card driver, but the issue remains unchanged.

No one has discovered a solution yet. You're experiencing the same problem consistently. Both monitors are set up identically: a 27" LG OLED on the left at 1440p240hz and a 55" TCL TV on the right. In Sea of Thieves, your mouse cursor appears or moves into the 55" screen while you explore the game. When you switch to fullscreen in SoT, the cursor stays there until you click, then the click happens in the 55". This effect also shows up in other games if you play them first. I've tried everything from changing window modes to updating drivers and reinstalling software.

Hello, the problem you're facing is the same. It's happening with both League of Legends and Halo Infinite on Xbox. There have been no recent updates reported.

I noticed a new version of Game Bar. Perhaps you should install all available updates and try again, since I believe the issue has been resolved for me. I'll let you know if it continues.

You're experiencing an issue where your mouse is behaving unexpectedly, moving between monitors. This could be due to software conflicts, hardware settings, or driver issues. Let me know if you'd like guidance on troubleshooting steps!
