The motherboard's VGA light is illuminating.
Hello. I just installed a new M.2 drive and after powering up the PC, an orange VGA light appeared. To reach the M.2 slot, I removed the GPU, RAM, and CPU cooler fan. Once everything was back in place, it worked immediately. The VGA light stayed on for about 30 minutes, then occasionally flashed a red CPU light for a second before returning to orange. I checked the RAM and swapped both sticks in every slot but got the same result. The PC had been functioning perfectly an hour prior. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Attempted several fixes but nothing resolved the problem. Used an old GTX 960 that functioned previously, then a 4GB RAM stick, which worked fine. Removed the old components and reinstalled the original RAM, restoring full functionality. The issue remains unclear, but it’s resolved now.
It might have been that both the RAM and GPU required a new seat. Either way, good that it's resolved.
