The motherboard's USB connections experience interruptions during file transfers.
You're experiencing issues where inserting a hard drive into the Motherboard USB IO causes the drive to unmount during read/copy operations, leading to crashes. This problem is specific to the Motherboard IO and doesn't affect the Case IO through the 3.2 USB header. The motherboard details are as follows: Gigabyte TRX40 AORUS PRO WIFI CPU, AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X at 3.7GHz, 4x 32GB RAM, 2x PNY GeForce RTX 2080 Ti with 11GB V2, Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 SSD, EVGA SuperNOVA 1200W power supply, and a Fractal Design Case. Despite multiple contacts, the issue remains unresolved. Community help is being sought. Thanks, Josiah.
