Hey! Your setup seems to have some quirks. The ASUS P5E X38 board with an 8GB DDR2 and Q955 chipset is working okay now, but there were issues with power-on behavior. After a few weeks, the system would hang or fail to power up completely, even though some lights and fans were active. When you waited a bit and then tried it again, it worked fine.

You mentioned the keyboard LED was problematic after a week off, and now it's not responding at all when you press the power button. It’s good to know other parts are still functioning, but the CPU and RAM seem fine.

You tried overclocking and cleaning CMOS, but nothing changed. Have you checked the BIOS settings for any recent changes? Also, ensure the power supply is stable and the fans are running properly.
