I'm setting up my build with a Gigabyte B650 gaming X-AX V2. The enclosure is a Lian Li O11 Air Mini. I've aligned the IO shield with the case cutout, but the standoffs don't match the motherboard's specs. I confirmed the case standoffs are ATX compatible. Is this the correct setup?

It seems the IO shield isn't completely locked into the case. Try moving it a bit more to make sure the motherboard slots match the standoffs. Could need some pressure.

The motherboard fits properly without the IO shield by ensuring all connections are secure and properly aligned.

Adjust the alignment gently by applying pressure on the board until it matches. Insert a screw to secure the position. After a few adjustments, everything should align fairly well. I believe standard LL cases lack the extra tall middle standoff for vertical assembly, so verify that. Also confirm the motherboard has any missing standoff holes—remove them if needed. It seems the case might have been slightly warped and requires some careful force to fit properly.

I managed to install the motherboard into the case and tightened all the screws. However, there are 2-3 screws requiring a slightly unusual angle, with the most challenging one being this. Could this lead to any issues? Should I consider returning the case for a replacement? IMG_3642.HEIC

Reviewing the image from the new thread, it appears the I/O shield on your motherboard isn't fully seated in the case. The right side doesn't go all the way into the cutout. This seems to be the main problem. The exact force needed can vary based on the shield type and case brand.

The image isn't visible, but it should work if it's properly inserted
