I'm new to this site and want to make sure I follow the guidelines properly. I'm trying to set up Windows on my new PC build, but when I reach the installation stage, only the USB drive for Windows 10 appears. I've checked forums for solutions and tried various fixes like enabling CSM, adjusting BIOS settings, and more. Now I'm unsure what else to do. For easier reference, in EZ mode my SSD shows up under storage info, but it says "RAID: Samsung SSD 980 Pro 2TB" while the motherboard lists it as "Asus Rog Strix z690-e Cpu..." I have the M.2 slot installed on the M.2_2 port, which you can find in a manual. Since it appears in BIOS, reseating it shouldn't be the problem, but some users mention that the thermal pads on this motherboard might warp the M.2 slot, causing issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Consider if the steps are correct since you're flipping the BIOS instructions. Begin by turning on your PC, then press Del when the ROG logo shows up in BIOS > use F7 to enter Advanced Mode > go to the Advanced tab > System Agent (SA) Configuration > VMD Setup Menu: Map SATA Controller under VMD: Disabled Map PCIE Storage under VMD: Disabled - Press F10 to Save & Exit

Attempted the fix and it worked, but now it shows "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key." Also, I’m still unable to access BIOS because the initial screen displays an error.

Got spamming keys from the startup I accessed Bios into. Checking the boot config in the boot tab shows options #1, #2 and #3. My M.2 slot is 2, UEFI OS is running with Sandisk Cruzer 1.26 (8.0gb), and Sandisk Cruzer 1.26 (8.0gb). I tried pressing "Boot override" and it worked—Windows recognized my M.2 slot during setup. The install started fine; everything seems okay! Thanks a ton for your support—it really helped!

Hello, I'm facing the same problem with my build—Windows installation on my NVMe SSD isn't working despite showing up in Easy Mode. I'm using an i7-12700K and an ASUS Z690-F motherboard, with a WD Black SN850 SSD. Unfortunately, I can't adjust the BIOS settings to help. Could you assist?
