I'm having trouble getting my motherboard to boot from a USB drive with Windows installed. I've tried various methods, including using an USB boot and disabling other components, but the screen remains blank with an underscore when selected. It seems like something might be wrong with the USB connection or driver setup. You're planning to install Windows on your NVMe drive that detected the hardware. Let me know if you need help troubleshooting further.

The contents of that thumb drive are unclear. It could have been a media file created using Rufus or another Windows tool, or simply a downloaded .iso file.

I utilized the Windows Media Creation utility. The next step will be to reinstall the ISO directly onto the USB stick.

Placing the ISO directly on the USB won't work. It's better to obtain the ISO first and then use RUFUS to generate a compatible install USB, which is highly reliable.

I noticed the error by thinking the device was meant for a full Windows installation. I mistakenly used this drive for that purpose, not realizing it needed to be treated as a standard Windows installation media. No worries, I appreciate your guidance—I'll remember your advice moving forward.
