I removed every screw from the connection between the motherboard and the case, yet it remains stuck. There appears to be a screw on the left side of the picture—could you check if that’s still present or if you need to adjust your approach?

When there’s not much obstruction, the issue could stem from the I/O being stuck against the cover. Often you need to slightly adjust the motherboard and then gently pull it out.

there is a lot of resistance from right there is feels as if there is a screw but I can't seem to find one and I can't get the Io out

This scenario often benefits someone who owns the physical hardware. The process is straightforward—look at the I/O shield section and the back of the motherboard tray, then gently move or shake the board.
