The motherboard is showing an orange warning light.
Yesterday I played for about two hours but the screen stopped while the PC kept running. I turned off the PC to try a reboot, but it didn’t work. In the first ten minutes the motherboard lights were flashing in orange, then red, followed by CPU and VGA signals, and then back to orange again. I cleaned the RAM slots and checked two at a time, but after ten minutes it stayed on orange. I did everything possible and nothing helped. My machine is an Asus ROG B550-F with 16GB RAM and Corsair memory sticks.
Usually the Power light uses the different colors as messages, Orange likely indicates a faulty Power Supply. Power supply testers are cheaper than new power supply. This is an example of a very cheap
tester
, if you can find one locally would best option.
As you can see by the images, a typical ATX power supply outputs several different voltages, with your symptoms, it sounds like maybe the +5 volt or the 3.3 volt output has lost its factory installed
Smoke Charge.

I don't believe it's the PSU, as I recently purchased a new Corsair RM850x last month.
There is this scientific idea that the universe and all its parts are constantly moving toward a condition of maximum disorder, with some phenomena reaching this state faster than others.
I’m happy you understood it correctly!
To be honest, it seems that anything involving electrons moving through it behaves like a light bulb—once it works, then it stops!

Trying to pinpoint the precise reason for your CPU failing would be pure guesswork or educated assumptions. Remember, the typical CPU is made from silicon with various metals, packed into a device containing millions of transistors and circuitry. It functions in a risky environment with extreme temperature changes and atmospheric risks, while constantly processing 1s and 0s in unpredictable ways. Much like light bulbs, they often work well for a moment before failing.
I regret not having a clearer explanation for the exact failure cause!
TLDR Crap Happens!
You fixed it quickly, thank you. 🔨
