I think in a few years if they keep releasing those DVDs with drivers, the younger generation might begin wondering what all the fuss was about and why their devices came with such technology.

In fact, for an Asus board, this disk includes a recovery BIOS. It's most helpful when a flash fails and the board lacks a flash backup feature.
