I recently purchased a new computer and have been facing persistent issues. Currently, both the motherboard and power supply unit have been replaced, yet neither is functioning properly. The PSU emits a clicking noise, the motherboard lights up, the fans move slightly, and then the motherboard emits a beep before shutting down completely. I've been attempting fixes for the last week. The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G at 3.9 GHz with a 6-core configuration, the motherboard is an MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4, and the RAM is TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16. The storage includes a Crucial P2 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME SSD. The PSU is a Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 600 W, certified 80+ Gold for ATX use.

Check the manual for the meaning of the beep code. Verify if your BIOS is up to date.

It was just one short sound. The system froze before I could act. No visual output either.

It seems like the power supply and mainboard are likely causing an issue. Remove one RAM stick and test; swap it with another. Verify the header in the case is correctly placed in the connectors (buttons, etc.). If problems persist, fully remove the case, rebuild it on a flat surface, and jump-start using a screwdriver on the switch connectors to check for a case short.

I attempted the RAM solution and constructed it without a case, but neither worked yet. The only update is that it ceased to emit a beep.

Consider trying to reset the CMOS circuit.

The system doesn't require bios access; the motherboard includes a BIOS flash button. It probably won't work with Zen 3 unless the BIOS is updated. That's why it isn't being shared.
