The motherboard doesn't support speeds above 4.2 GHz. I'm using an Intel 7600K with 16 GB RAM on a GIGABYTE GA-H270-HD3 board.
You don't have an overclocking board; it's not a Z170 or Z270. It seems the board supports multi-core enhancements, letting you run all cores at 4.2ghz. Is there another way to overclock the CPU?
