The Tj. Max shown in Core Temp 1.6 seems off. It should be 80°C for the Core2 Quad Q6600 (Kentsfield) B3 Revision. They suggest keeping it under 70°C, but I can't figure out my actual temperatures from the bios—should I trust the real temp? Check the Settings window for RealTemp 3.70 to see what's being used for Set TJ Max. Is it 80°C or something else?

The Core2 Quad Q6600 Revision G0 operates at a maximum temperature of 90°C. Your unit is Revision B3, which requires adjustment to 80°C.
