I think it's likely LGA775. It offers a durable socket and has supported several generations of strong Core 2 processors—definitely not just the Pentium 4s.

It's tough to pinpoint the exact socket. We might guess a bit based on the Steam survey data. It seems about half of gamers are still using quad-core CPUs, probably Core 2 Quad models with LGA 775 chips.
