sims is really frustrating for me. A friend of my sister keeps trying to do it, but it’s tough due to patch variations. My usual advice was to check game stores for older copies, which is challenging because there are many different EPs and mixes. (Yes, EA has bundled some together, some with base games, others without, making it confusing...) Probably the best option is searching online for cheap original keys.
