What most folks choose is 1080 because it offers good value and I don’t see much difference from it.
I have two distinct setups for gaming. Keyboard and mouse games work best with my monitor at 1920x1200, steering wheel games are played on my TV at 1360x768, and controller games use my TV as well. If I include my laptop running at 1920x1080, it adds another resolution to the mix. Honestly, I don’t play much on any of these systems except when pairing them with the TV.
