I recently assembled a new PC and it functioned smoothly for a short period. However, when launching a game, it would only run briefly before the screen went dark with a signal loss message, prompting me to shut it down. I attempted various fixes such as enabling and disabling EFI, updating drivers for the motherboard, GPU, and CPU, and even running it in bare Windows without any drivers. All connections seemed secure, a memory test passed, temperatures were normal, and BIOS was updated. Crashes didn’t happen during GPU and CPU tests in Cinebench. The problem persists but I’m struggling to identify the cause. Please help.

Explored another port on the GPU. Experimented with switching between DP and HDMI. Tested a different monitor. (If needed, a TV can be used as a backup)

Hey, I attempted a different port but it no longer boots, even when using the old display port that worked before. The VGA light on my motherboard is still visible, and I’m hearing an unusual clicking noise from the PC.

It works properly when I connect the display port directly to the motherboard.

GPU isn't functioning while the onboard unit works. You might want to verify if the onboard also resolves the black screen issue. Is your 4070S correctly linked to the power supply?

I removed the entire GPU and reinstalled it. The power cables are securely connected, but I'm puzzled as to why it won't boot properly if I connect the cable back to the GPU. The VGA indicator lights up on the motherboard, yet the GPU displays a red light during startup.
