I experience these crashes when using my AMD drivers, not a monitor issue. It doesn't occur on Linux.

So... a fresh and entirely different monitor is still causing the same issue. I've also changed the extension cord to a heavy-duty one and swapped the HDMI cables. The only attempts I've made were connecting the laptop via USB-C to the monitor. What appears to be working is disabling Intel Integrated Graphics in the device manager.
