I have an Arris SBG6782-AC modem/router combo. The connection isn't strong enough for smooth streaming to the living room TV. To improve this, I considered adding an access point at the end of the house since a direct wire wasn't possible. I decided to repurpose my Arris SBG6700-AC as an access point by turning it off for DHCP and connecting it to one of the 6782 LAN ports. Both devices now share the same SSID and password. After installing the 6700, the 6782 is rebooting several times daily. Any suggestions on what might be causing this issue? I've tried a few things without much change: using different SSIDs and lowering the Wi-Fi power to 75%.
