I bought a motherboard from a friend who upgraded his PC (got it for the brother still stuck with the Q6600). It was functioning properly before he started taking it apart. Once I received it, I found a bent pin—specifically an Ivy Bridge connector at coordinates 6,4 pointing to a VSS pin. I tried straightening it as much as possible, but I’m not getting a proper post. I’m uncertain if the bent pin is causing the problem. It’s throwing error 55, which indicates a RAM detection issue. I’ve checked every RAM slot, cleared CMOS, and even used jumpers—still no clear solution. Now I’m unsure what to do next. The board model is an ASRock P67 Extreme 4 Gen 3.
