The MOBO isn't activating as expected.
I was performing a thorough reset of my computer. All power sources were disconnected, every cable removed, and all parts taken out. I only reconnected the CPU, PSU, and motherboard, then tried turning on the power supply for the motherboard—it didn’t light up or activate. My ROG Strix B550-F Gaming CPU Ryzen 7 4750G APU is connected via Corsair RM 850x Modular RAM (4x16GB DDR4) and Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz. I checked every connection, reset the CMOS, but nothing changed. I’m stuck without the ability to test components by replacing them, as everything seems fine yesterday.
It seems the power connections might not be properly locked in place or could be missing. A photo of the PC’s interior would help confirm the issue. When you say the motherboard won’t turn on after switching the PSU on, it usually means the cables aren’t secure. If you press the power button on the case, are you trying to manually start the system?
