I recently assembled my first PC and haven’t had a Wi-Fi adapter for a while. Right now I’m using my phone as a Wi-Fi bridge, but it keeps dropping connections. Whenever I connect the phone and enable USB tethering, it works briefly—about 10 seconds to 2 minutes—then the Wi-Fi icon disappears on the PC. I’ve tested various ports without success. This configuration has been stable for at least a week, though I only needed to turn off tethering to resolve the issue. After restarting, it functioned properly for around three minutes. Edit: Now it seems to be working smoothly.
