Yeah... That is the thing, I don't uuhhhh... Pay for energy, no i'm not stealing it, no I am not screwing over my parents xD I live on my own, it's just... Hard to explain, but either way that is why mining is so appealing to me now that gpu prices have dropped
The new setup didn’t resolve the problem. The cards function properly on my main PC (the 3060 Ti works well, while the 3080 Ti has three power connectors so I can’t link it). I also tried another monitor, but it didn’t help either. Honestly, I’m not sure what to do anymore—I don’t have any ideas that could fix it right now.
What operating system are you using? Have you considered switching to another one to check for software problems? A bootable Linux USB might help. It's a bit unclear... Secure boot in UEFI, CSM issues, GPT versus MBR? I'm struggling to understand. Besides the graphics cards, what similarities do older and newer systems share?
The latest device is focused on mining, I dropped some things at a tech store... Fingers crossed it works out
Used an HDMI to VGA cable straight to the motherboard for display. Not sure if the GPU can show images, but it doesn’t matter. Placed a PCIe power cable near the USB port on the riser, which helped the GPU show up. Previously, it worked fine, but now it doesn’t detect the GPU properly when using the other PCIe power port on the riser. Everything seems to function correctly now as expected.
